This is a situation that should probably be left to countries and governments to regulate spyware technology. Rules and regulations can be suggested for countries and governments for the use of spyware however the general populations would see this as too much of an international government.  Less

   The responsibility of regulation should generally be left up to individual countries to set for their own people and firms, so as not to threaten sovereignty and raise further questions as to who is... moreThe responsibility of regulation should generally be left up to individual countries to set for their own people and firms, so as not to threaten sovereignty and raise further questions as to who is able to influence the setting of international regulations. If countries could come together to determine an ideal blueprint and each implement it individually, that would be great, but widespread, enforced international regulations are likely not the best solution.  Less
