Like another commenter pointed out, the “international bodies” thing is the catch here. While I actually think that this worldwide anti-robot takeover task force would be great, historically, our “international bodies” are not particularly effective. Their worst skill is enforcement, which makes them pretty useless at regulation. Establish a global code of ethics for AI uses, but leave it up to individual states or at least more regional organizations/partnerships to actually be the ones putting them into practice.Read Less
