New York Legalizes Doctors Prescribing Death
Why Troubling News:
The title itself is misleading. New York legalized medical assisted suicide, not prescribing death. The article consisitently contridicts itself. The author claims that this is bad and immoral, but then ends the statement by stating that ultimately, this is the patient's choice. Additionally, the article goes through the process of getting prescribed medical suicide, which highlights that it is not a spur-of-the-moment decision. A patient must go through a process to be eligible for the procedure. The entire article contradicts itself.
