This article is attempting to push a narrative that the team USA men's hockey team got poor reception upon returning home. However, it ignores that after they left the gate they had a large line of fans asking for autographs. It's important to note that security is tight in airport gates. You can't get in without a ticket. Even people who did have a ticket were likely told by security to stay under control. The seemingly mild response in the video is likely due to these regulations. Along with having a larger line of fans outside of the gate, they also have had large fan events in their respective hometowns. Although the article does mention they landed in a city not known for hockey, they failed to mention the individual events that were scheduled for the players.
