    I do believe that a global effort is necessary to enhance cyber literacy among the elderly population because we live in a society that relies on technology, and most basic activities have to be done... moreI do believe that a global effort is necessary to enhance cyber literacy among the elderly population because we live in a society that relies on technology, and most basic activities have to be done through a computer or phone. Therefore, I think it is important to teach our elder population how to do these things through the internet so they are self sufficient and don't rely on others to complete their basic tasks.  Less

The prevailing thought when I was in high school a decade ago was that older generations were susceptible to misinformation online while our generations would not. Yet, today, I would argue younger adults are just as vulnerable.  Less

I would argue that ethical use of digital technologies is also dire to teach, as many younger generations have lost the skills of how to communicate in an ethical and proper way due to being accustomed to a more casual register of language online, such as with slang.  Less
