I see too often that governments create or streamline services with digital platforms and then close physical branches. This affects not only public sector jobs, but also leaves elderly people or ones with poor technological education or access in a bind because they don’t know or can’t operate these digital platforms correctly, and because they are digital, its much harder to get adequate help and assistance if physicla branches are also closed.
Not to mention, agencies could also lose the knowlegde of how to do these processes without digital platforms as the middleman, which poses risks if these platforms were to suffer cyber attacks that steal information or end in the loss of important records. Read Less

Generally, I agree, but it would probably be expensive for the government to do this. I’m not sure if that money would be better used else where.
