I do not think it is absolutley necessary for countries to esablish a mutual aid agreement for combating natural disasters; however, I do think that this type of agreement could be very useful and beneficial. This is because mutual aid agreements can allow countries the ability to pool resources, expertise, and emergency response cababilities together. This can help enable countreies to have faster, more effective assistance capabilities/capacity during natural disasters. Basically, formal cooperation between countries can improve coordination, reduce response times, and ptoetnially save more civillian lives (especially when it comes to large-scale disasters). Read Less

    Yes. Natural disasters can overwhelm one country on its own. Mutual aid agreements help countries share resources, expertise, and support quickly, saving lives and reducing damage.
