I do think diverse workplaces are good thing, but I don’t know if automatic diversity quotas are a good idea. Systematic inequalities in race, class, gender, sexualities, etc, are major problems, but corporate diversity programs are poorly thought out and executed. Absolutely, there should be policies to ensure DEI in the workplace. Everyone has just been inundated with propaganda to think that DEI means “race quotas.” Sure, those are no good for ANYONE. But policies in general to support diversity in the workplace? That seems like a no-brainer. Partnering with organizations that support underrepresented groups, blind resume screenings, advertising openings across diverse boards, and mentorship programs. All DEI policies, all good for everyone in the long run— unless you hate diversity. Read Less
