Understanding these impacts is important becuase climate change is something that not only affects envirnmental conditions, but economic stability and public health. Increasing public awarness of this issue can help bring to light the seriousness of climate change and the need for coordinated responses, which will hopefully lead to more individual behavioral changes and community action to protect the envirnment.  Less
