    Yes, ethical treatment is crucial and I am strongly opposed to animal cruelty in research, as humane treatment should be a nonstarter in this day and age.

I think holding to international standards for animal treatment that impacts other countries (such as treatment of animals that will be used in some way for economic trade between countries) is a reasonable ask for the sake of staying on the same page. There should simply be care to avoid overstepping boundaries for the sake of making everyone adhere to one standard. Read Less

    I want to say yes but I ultimately chose maybe. I do not know a lot about this topic but I know an international agreement is very hard to initiate and regulate.
