International guidelines for the deployment of an autonomous public transportation system would be unrealistic and ineffective. Each country has different cultural, political, and legal environments that shape how technology is regulated and used. For instance, public attitudes toward privacy, safety, and government responsibility vary widely between Europe, Asia, and the United States. A universal rule could not account for these differences. Instead, each country should develop its own standards that reflect local values, legal systems, and public trust in technology. International discussion can be helpful for sharing best practices, but enforcement should remain at the national level. Read Less

I don’t believe that an international guideline can contribute the same efforts when ensuring safety, data privacy, and cybersecurity. A loose framework couldn’t do any harm when regulating these systems. Read Less

I think that there should not be international guidelines for the deployment of autonomous public transport systems because each country has their own infrastructure, traffic laws, and safety standards that will influence how these systems operate. Trying to apply one set of general guidelines globally will not work unless all participating countries had similar priorities and capacities. Instead, countries should evaluate their goals and current capabilities and establish their own framework that is personalized for their country’s needs. Read Less

I think maybe because this could promote safety but there are many different country infrastructures and systems that it might be complex.
