Countries can sometimes just ignore global standards and sanctions, and we would have to get a majority of nations to agree on the severity of the sanctions and who will be getting sanctioned. This will be subject to alliances, trade partnerships, and culture.  Less

   I voted yes, however its important to also respect a nations sovereignty when what is being censored pertains to what is broadly acceptable or not culturally, and when what is being censored has broad... moreI voted yes, however its important to also respect a nations sovereignty when what is being censored pertains to what is broadly acceptable or not culturally, and when what is being censored has broad and majority support from its citizens. The only topic I believe is excluded from these considerations are political ideology or political history ones, as censorship of this kind would inevitably be too biased in favor of the countries' government.  Less
