Also, term limits can bring fresh perspectives and new ideas to governance, as well as reduce the potential for corruption and abuse of power that may arise from long-serving officials.  Less

   Absolutely. I mean, in the U.S. even presidents can have only two terms at most, so why shouldn't other political offices be subjected to the same? I mean, in the U.S. even presidents can have only two terms at most, so why shouldn't other political offices be subjected to the same? I think limiting terms for elected officials is a good way to keep politicians from being too power- hungry or abusing the power they already have.  Less
