Prior to this, McCaskill served as the 34th Auditor of Missouri from 1999 to 2007 and worked as a member of the Missouri House of Representatives for the state's 42nd district from 1983 to 1988. She has also spent five years as the Prosecutor of Jackson County, Missouri and most recently served as a Ranking Member of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Claire McCaskill is 72 years old.
