A disinformation network linked to the Kremlin called Operation Overload recently circulated AI-generated videos falsely claiming that USAID was paying Hollywood celebrities to promote Ukrainian President Zelensky. One of these videos was amplified by Elon Musk and reached millions before being debunked. The campaign highlights how cheap, fast, and emotionally manipulative AI-driven misinformation is being weaponized to erode trust in Western institutions.
