In this Breitbart article, Rep. Byron Donalds appears to tie the Charlie Kirk assassination to leftism. While this seems like a reasonable guess at first (someone opposite of Kirk's politics is more likely to be an assassin than someone aligned with him), a recent report by NBC News, citing federal investigators, stated there has not yet been a proven link between the shooter and left-wing groups. In fact, multiple reports highlight how right-wing extremism has been responsible for the majority of political deaths in recent years.
