The most obvious and effective way to increase political engagement is to educate our younger generation about the importance of voting and how it affects their lives moving forward. Their vote indeed does matter, and when voting, they make sure one’s goals align correctly with their interests so that they may choose the appropriate candidate. Today, political engagement is a huge popularity contest, and the gross spread of misinformation by the masses creates a follow-the-leader effect.
