It was seen that countries in more negative economic circumstances often had a tougher time executing policies to mitigate the illness, which in turn led to worse outcomes globally. The ability to offer additional relief to those countries is important, should an outbreak like this occur again. Read Less

    After COVID-19, it is clear that we are unprepared to deal with pandemics efficiently. Contributing to pandemic preparedness should be everyone’s priority so that pandemics don’t end catastrophically.

    Yes based on past history it would make sense to prepare so that if it were to happen there could be sufficient resources to start an effective response.

On top of seeing thousands dead, the COVID pandemic also saw widespread politicization and polarization of something that properly shouldn’t have been a matter of opinion to begin with. A global and more coordinated effort to better damage control another pandemic seems like a no-brainer. Read Less
