While I am for diversification of resources in general equal access to satellite and space exploration data would be a direct threat to the national security of the leading nations that provide a majority of that data. The safety of military assets, protected people, and even the astronauts sent by leading nations would be in danger by giving foreign saboteurs the information they need to target them. The truth is their are too many malicious governments and individuals who would benefit from this information to outweigh the costs of equal access.  Less
