This would help farmers as the world needs to change agriculture practices to help maintain the Earth. Sustainable agriculture practices will help deal with many issues by protecting the environment, soil, diversity, and food. These practices require money though so the subsidies will help offset that cost for farmers as there are many small farms who would not have the requirements to make the changes. The subsidies will help maintain the supply chain and help maintain the environment. Read Less

Agriculture is one of the largest industries for carbon emissions and that has to be reigned in. Let me be clear, we shouldn’t be all vegan or something but there has to be reasonable regulation and movement towards more eco-friendly farming and animal raising practices. But within reason of course, spending too much will crash the economy and drive up inflation. Read Less
