While vaccines are marvels of science and have been miraculous for innumerable people, I do not think that mandating vaccines, further empowering large pharmaceutical companies that have, in at least some instances, proven to work against the interests of Americans for financial gain, is going to increase safety. I believe that the government leaving people to their own devices is fundamentally American, and mandating a vaccine passport for travel flies in the face of that. Although I personally disagree with anti-vaxxers and have been vaccinated my whole life, I support their right to remain unvaccinated should they choose.Read Less

I hold this opinion because I feel this would be hard to enforce since countries all have different health regulations and technologies. Additionally, its already challenging to meet existing travel requirements and adding more vaccine regulations could definitely discourage people from traveling abroad and instead push them to opt for staying within their own countries–a trend that has already been observed since the implementation of COVID and post-COVID travel policies.Read Less

Some places we even have it required. I am not sure if America forces others countries to take vaccines before coming but I would not be surprised. For instance if I were to travel to a country in Central Africa there is a high chance I will need to get some vaccines to travel there for my own safety of my loved ones once I get home.Read Less

This would help reduce the spread of infectious diseases across borders and make it easier for countries to manage entry requirements consistently. However, challenges such as privacy concerns, data security, and unequal access to vaccines would need to be addressed to ensure fairness and global cooperation. Overall, if implemented ethically and securely, it could significantly enhance public health and travel safety.Read Less
