This is because people today are constantly exposed to information through social media, news platforms, and online content. Additionslly, not everything published online is accurate, unbiased, and reliable. Media literacy education can help individuals and students learn how to evaluate sources, recognize bias, identify misinformation, and think cirtically about the content they consume. All of these benefits of media literacy education will help better equip students to make more informed decisions, avoid being misled, and become more responsible digital citizens in an increasingly media-driven world.
