Regulations need to be in place to make sure that accidental editing does not happen to create food that is dangerous. This would be like editing food with allergies it does not normally have, and food having higher levels of poisons. Also, that gene edited food can not be copyrighted, so it does not affect people’s liveihoods as farmer’s cannot control pollination. Thus, companies trying to copyright seeds/foods would affect farmer’s and their lands. Read Less
