Instead, the government could set guidelines for political …Read MoreI agree with the overall goal of trying to improve healthy discourse; however, I feel like there could be better ways of doing this. Instead, the government could set guidelines for political advertisements. This would take the responsibility of regulating potentially dangerous and/or harmful speech from private businesses and place it in the government’s hands. Political advertisements serve an important role in teaching the audience certain things about candidates and what they support. They serve an important role. They should not be banned, but rather regulated. Read Less

While it would be difficult to hinder this, there should be measures in place to ensure it does not become the focus of the website. Individuals deserve to receive balanced news that is not crowded with one particular agenda. Read Less

I believe this would be beneficial. Even though the First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, none of the amendments are absolute. The current level of politicization within the United States is a great cause for alarm against the public good. Read Less
