    I think banning deforestation. I think it is necessary to make policies to reduce them, however, banning them completely might be challenging.

Countries and people that rely on deforestation activities would greatly suffer, perpetuating global inequality. Such a ban could also infuriate some people if they feel that it is infringing on their sovereign rights which would lead to even more adverse issues. Read Less

However, a complete ban is something that would end up being extremely complicated, most importantly that often the poorest countries are the ones practicing this the most. This fact would make it very hard to outlaw without plunging those countries into an immediate downturn. If a solution to that problem, along with others such as an alternative building method, I would be for the law, I just don’t know if that is possible. Read Less
