I think while there could be efforts taken to reduce the divide I do not think it can or should be completely eliminated. Read Less

However, a task like this would be very hard to succeed in, if the application seems forced on people it will be rejected, and if it is too subtle it will go unnoticed. I may be in favor of an effort with this goal in mind but it would have to be carefully planned. Read Less

Some division is fine, but we should monitor it to ensure that it does not get too out of hand. It is not easy to fix and implement, and it might not be necessary everywhere.

I think it could increase access to information, education, and economic development but I also think it would be difficult to follow through with and implement.

There definitely should be, as the digital divide proportionately impacts the class divisions and pushes the global south further away from the progress of the global north.

This could allow people opportunities for learning about other nations or cultures. How this would be implemented I’m not sure, as the cost in both money and material would likely be immense. And like any new tools or discovery, there will also be some who could use it for immoral or illegal purposes. Read Less

Not really sure what this means. The question could benefit from more clarification.

I think it could be beneficial but I don’t think a significant amount of resources should be put towards it because there are other more pressing issues to address globally.

It’s not a bad idea, but I think we should consider the potential effects before pursuing this, and review all of our possible options.
