Nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons are extremely unpredictable, cause issues for years (if not decades) to come, and put a host of innocent lives at risk. If one of these weapons is deployed, retaliation is expected, which further destroys human life and ruins the sustainability of our environment. There is no purpose for these weapons other than the extreme loss of life, which does not serve a particularly defense (or offensive) purpose.Read Less

If a small country wants to create weapons of mass destruction international sanctions would rain on them. But who can really stop the U.S. and China, for example, from amassing these types of weapons? (which they do possess, btw.)
