Should urban developments be required to allocate space for community gardens and local food production?

    I think this would be a good idea overall. But, making it a requirement might be a stretch because urban planning is different.

If Urban development were to put aside some space and effort to building community gardens, it can be a safe haven for trees and other plant life, thus allowing for additional Oxygen emission. With that in mind, I believe Urban Developments should be required to allocate space for places like these. Read Less

Sustainable living comes in waves and cannot happen overnight. Instilling the population with a sense of self-reliance will hopefully have the added effect of principled conservation values in cities. Read Less

    Trying to fit this into every urban area may not be the most ideal idea. Maybe in some places where it is more suitable.
