Trump tales: The time he alienated his most patriotic colleagues

62% : John F. Kelly, a retired four-star Marine Corps general, served first as secretary of Homeland Security under Trump, then as White House chief of staff.
56% : "He was always telling me that we need to use the FBI and IRS to go after people," Kelly said of Trump in a New York Times interview last year.
44% : But he's certainly not alone among those who served prominently with Trump during his tumultuous term in the Oval Office.

14% : As president, he repeatedly and publicly tried to pressure the Justice Department to go after Joe Biden -- who would later trounce Trump by 7 million votes in the 2020 election -- as well as Hillary Clinton and others.
8% : " Just this past week, when Trump yet again threatened political opponents -- this time by calling in the military on "radical left lunatics" -- his former Pentagon chief assured listeners they should take Trump at his word.
7% : And just last month, a group of 10 retired top military leaders endorsed Harris in a letter criticizing Trump as "a danger to our national security and democracy.
4% : " Retired Army Gen. Mike Milley, who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under both Trump and Joe Biden, made headlines this week by calling Trump a "total fascist" and "the most dangerous person to this country" in a new Bob Woodward book.
