Bruce Poliquin started his political career as the Maine state treasurer after working at an investment firm in 2011. Bruce had complaints brought against him that he was engaging in commerce while in his position as treasurer. He tried for the elections to the US senate in 2012 but was unsuccessful. In 2014 he ran and successfully took position in the house.Bruce Poliquin is 70 years old.
