Pete Domenici was an American Republican politician and attorney who earned his law degree at the University of Denver after attending the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque as an undergraduate. Domenici would later serve as the 37th Mayor of Albuquerque before becoming a U.S. Senator for the state of New Mexico from 1973 to 2009. Domenici passed away in 2017.Pete Domenici.
