Our current president has a well established history of hyperbolic language to emphasize political success, and his revisionist statements regarding economic success during his first term has misinformed the public. His description of his first term's economy as the greatest economy America has ever seen is opposed to the opinion of financial experts who have repeatedly described his first term's economy as tumultuous and ending on a poor note with the COVID-19 pandemic.
