The use of the word "coup" already shows a strong bias against the Democratic Party, with the article implying that a group of Democratic Party elites staged a "bloodless coup" against their own president. This is already blatantly false, examples of actually coups can be seen from Myanmar to Niger. The overall has a sarcastic and mocking tone both to Joe Biden and the party as a hole, with the author even comparing Jill Biden to Lady Macbeth. Another exaggeration the author makes is towards the beginning where he claims that Biden stepping out of the race and being replaced as candidate is "one of the most astonishing political developments of my lifetime." Yes Biden stepping out is big and unprecedented, but "most astonishing" seems quite bold, especially considering that in the author's lifetime (I checked) there were much larger events like the fall of the Soviet Union, the 9/11 attacks and the War on Terror.
