Misinformation and revisionism regarding Benjamin Netanyahu’s ICC warrant
The ICC's decision to issue an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes has been a subject of controversy since its 2024 issuance date. Despite the fact that the warrant was extensively reviewed and approved by multiple senior ICC judges, this article attempts to paint the warrant as the work of a malicious kangaroo court. The Israeli PM's office and the Trump administration characterize the ICC as a corrupt coalition that has no international legal authority, and describes Netanyahu's arrest warrant as non enforceable and lacking the hard evidence necessary to justify it. In reality, the warrant is based on numerous documented war crimes verified by multi media reports and survivor interviews from affected regions. Additionally, the ICC has the express authority of its members to issue warrants towards non members who commit crimes on their land.
