Social media users are claiming that Starbucks is supporting the Republican National Convention. This information is untrue, as they are in various partnerships with committees such as the Milwaukee 2024 Host Committee (the one hosting the RNC). They will also be doing a partnership with the Chicago 2024 Host Committee for the Democratic National Convention as well. Their partnerships are not tied to political motives, rather "nonpartisan, nonprofit entities that serve as liaisons." This misinformation spread can hurt the Starbucks brand as well as its employees.
