In this article, AP News points out misinformation that was spread by President Trump, in which Trump claims that children are seen having dramatic and "radical" changes after vaccines. This statement was unsupported by evidence and, as AP News pointed out, was also factually inaccurate. The misinformation spread here can be incredibly harmful. As POTUS, Trump has a very large platform and a large following of people who look up to him for information and answers. When misinformation is given out, such as in this instance, it can lead to influence that may be extremely harmful. Considering that this statement was also one made about healthcare, it can lead several individuals to make decisions that may be more harmful than beneficial for their children.
