Americans are unwilling to leave their echo chambers and listen to other viewpoints. Everyone is so stuck in their views that they shut out any contradiction. We need to have more discussions and find common ground with each other. While our political views can vary, we should still all be able to have peaceful discussions about the future of our nation. Education is also extremely important, but is not effective if citizens of a country do not know how to properly communicate their ideas with one another. A lack of conversation leads to misunderstanding, distrust, and in some cases, hatred. Civil dialogue is necessary in establishing greater unity and introducing people to new and different opinions. This helps establish more cooperation, and hopefully more societal order. Read Less
