That may be because a lot of the information may come from biased or unreliable sources that either dampen the truth about these situations or completely masks them. So, in order to prevent these violations from occurring again, I feel like these kinds of situations much be implemented to ensure the world gets a clearer picture of any atrocities that might be going on. A global watchdog would be useful for helping list things like possible laws or activities countries need to do to protect people. I would like to think that this entity would act as something like NATO or the UN but digitally. Right now, it is already such a contentious issue as to whether or not international law applies to states’ cyber operations as they do physically. By having a supranational organization wholly committed to maintaining digital human rights, I think it could be beneficial for the global order. Read Less
