Social group dynamics and Groupthink biases exist in every society and group to some degree. In the strongest groups and teams, there is an inherent desire for consensus and unity amongst all members. However, blindly conforming to group norms perpetuates Groupthink Bias and can be more detrimental to our society, especially our political system, than we may initially think.
