    There are more pressing issues; lack of basic needs. I think those should be addressed first.

But after reading the comments of others and really giving it some thought, I have to still play devil’s advocate, but purely on a grain of salt. It is true that there are still other world issues that need to be addressed faster and more urgently, especially considering how, in the long run, technological innovation is not such a breath holding issue. But, I’m still of the opinion that there could still be a little funding available for more useful innovations to take place. So, with this question, I don’t think there’s much room for a clear and purely correct answer. Read Less
